This is a huge problem because it limits the game i just payed for down to singleplayer, and as fun as it is i've already finished it and some parts are still glitchy on harder difficulties, but anyway.įrom what i have read on this possible error is that Activision reccomended PS3 users to take down router firewalls, but nothing was mentioned for PC's and i am not using any firewalls at this time. Several Gamespot forums i have read have said this is a irregular problem and it happens randomly to people who bought the game so far as i can tell. What i already know is it is not a regional problem. In the middle of trying to play anything online over Black Ops the game would automatically disconnect me and say: Call of Duty black ops server is not availible at this time and reccomend me to their site for updates. You change team to the one your friends are on and hope you don't get autobalanced or you waited for a slot to open up to move over. When it autobalances it will move people, even some that are trying to stack up, but at least its functional the way its supposed to be (so there isn't 15 vs 3).īy the way for people that are new to FPS's, this is how we used to have to do it in other DEDICATED SERVER games. This is only for server admins, but it will benefit everyone. This seems to be required as well for it to actually work - /rcon g_teamchange_graceperiod XX (Where XX is time before it starts autobalancing in seconds) Make sure you are logged in correctly - /rcon statusĦ. I have seen some people say how this does not work on ranked servers, but I believe it may just be because it wasn't default that no one knew to configure it.Ĥ.
